Well done to Aliyan for getting chosen by his friends this week for Hot Choc Friday. He got chosen for his extra effort and improved confidence in swimming last week.
Linked to their essential question ‘What makes a house a home?’ This week Year 1 have studied photographs of butterflies and enjoyed drawing their own interpretations of these.
Well done to Nye and Hassan for being chosen for hot chocolate this week. Nye was picked for showing great empathy for a child in assembly. Hassan has been picked for having exceptionally good manners.
Well done to these two children who came along for their hot chocolate this afternoon. They were chosen as they have consistently been going over and above in their exceptional attitude to learning this week.
Today our Silver award students were out on the final day of their expedition. Again, teamwork was excellent, as were their hiking and navigation skills… including on some tricky moorland terrain.
All students passed their expedition with flying colours! A huge well done!
Linked to their new summer term essential question ‘ Does what goes up always come down?’ Year 3 had a fantastic afternoon creating their own water bottle rockets and launching them into the sky.

Taylor has been chosen for Hot Choc Friday for thinking of others before herself. We are very proud of her actions in the playground.

This week Year 3 and their teachers walked to the Co-op store at Marsh to speak to the general public about sustainable farming and what they have learnt about where food comes from. They created a stall to showcase their findings and discussed these with the customers.
We would like to say a big thank you to the Co-op store and staff for allowing this wonderful learning opportunity.
